You are visiting SMP – the Serbian Metal Portal (officially Srpski Metal Portal). Since its start in February 2003, SMP has operated as an online magazine/webzine dedicated to supporting and promoting Metal and Rock bands from Serbia, Republika Srpska, and Montenegro.

Our unwavering goal is to provide media support to the local scene by offering band features, reviews, concert announcements, interviews, concert reports, news, and more.

SMP is committed to making it easier for anyone interested in the Serbian Metal and Rock scene to stay informed – whether you’re a musician, promoter, media outlet, or a fan.

Over the years, the Serbian metal scene has made tremendous strides. Bands now benefit from better creative and production standards, and Serbia has become a prominent stop on touring maps of international acts.

SMP follows these developments closely and delivers them through highly experienced contributors – including musicians, concert organizers, promoters, and journalists.

With the decline of once-prominent print publications such as Rock Express, Explosive, and the Serbian edition of Metal Hammer, SMP has become the largest and most dependable source of information about the Serbian Metal scene.
